The Architecture of Cyber: Assessing and Upgrading your Cybersecurity Infrastructure

While maintaining a robust cybersecurity architecture can be a daunting task, it does not have to be a solo journey. This presentation aims to help association professionals better understand the value of their data, the different levels and layers of cyber protection, and ways to enhance or upgrade their overall security frameworks to better defend against an ever-changing threat landscape.

Learning Objectives – attendees will gain:

  • Increase a level of understanding and comfort with the various tiers of cybersecurity architecture.
  • Identify key organizational guideposts to better understand cybersecurity needs.
  • Discuss driving forces behind cybersecurity requirements and advancements in order to keep ahead of the “cyber curve”.

Andrew Leggett, CEH, CSSA, CISSP, Director of Cybersecurity Operations, DelCor

Andrew Leggett joined DelCor in 2012 as a Network Consultant and has since been promoted to the Director of Cybersecurity Operations. Mr. Leggett has been working in the information technologies (IT) sector for more than 12 years and has experience in both security and networking infrastructure. Mr. Leggett supports DelCor clients with the following services:

  •  Network infrastructure assessments
  • Cybersecurity assessments
  • IT project management and implementation
  • Networking and security hardware installation, migrations, upgrades, and maintenance
  • End-user training for both small and large groups
  • In-depth training for systems administrators and engineers
  • Server infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and decommissions
  • Installing, monitoring, and maintaining large- and small-scale IT environments
  • Office moves and coordination with clients and third parties
  • New product selection and rollouts

Mr. Leggett graduated from the University of Central Florida. He is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), EC-Council Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), and Dell Certified SonicWALL Security Administrator (CSSA), and he is experienced in VMware, Hyper V, and a variety of Windows Server and desktop operating systems. Before joining DelCor, Mr. Leggett was the Vice President of IT at Floridian Community Bank.
