FAR (formerly the Finance & Administrative Roundtable) is a professional society formed for association financial and administrative professionals. FAR provides a forum for executives to exchange ideas, learn new skills and enhance their capabilities.
FAR is the DC area’s only association dedicated exclusively to nonprofit business leaders since 1983. The membership currently represents over 200 organizations and over 60 prestigious companies serving the not-for-profit community.

“Dues payments, contributions or gifts to FAR are not tax deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes. However, they may be deductible as ordinary and necessary business expenses subject to restrictions imposed as a result of FAR’s lobbying activities as defined by the Budget Reconciliation Act of 1993. FAR estimates that the nondeductible portion of your fiscal year 2021 dues -- the portion that is allocable to lobbying -- is 1/2%.”
