Lisa Brown Alexander, Founder, Nonprofit HR

Lisa’s goal is to ensure that every Nonprofit HR engagement inspires social sector leaders to strengthen their most important asset: their people. Renuka Iyler, SVP and Chief People Officer, PhRMA
Renuka is a certified people and DEI leader with over three decades of global experience in people practices. In her role at PhRMA as senior vice president and chief people officer, she serves as the executive sponsor of human capital programs, create, and develop the talent strategy in partnership with the executive team, and operate as an enterprise change leader. She brings her multitude of experiences ranging from start-ups to large organizations, in the for-profit and nonprofit sectors to PhRMA. She has led diverse teams and worked with 20 countries across Asia, Africa, Europe, and South America. Her expertise is in strategic engagement, organizational development, and centering on diversity, equity, and inclusion, in alignment with the PhRMA's business plans and strategic objectives.
Most recently, Renuka served as the chief human resources officer for World Resources Institute, a global research nonprofit that works with leaders in government, business, and civil society to design, and carry out practical solutions that simultaneously improve people’s lives and ensure nature can thrive. In her role, she advised and served as a partner to the executive team on the organization's global talent strategy and work culture. Prior to that, she worked as director of human resources at International Executive Service Corps (IESC), an international nonprofit dedicated to sustainable economic growth, Population Services International, Infor-SoftBrands, Levi Strauss & Co. and consulted with the Grameen Foundation, among others.

SEIU Conference Center: Please note SEIU is a secured building, and you will need to present a valid photo ID upon entry. Security will direct you to the location where the session is being held.
SEIU requires that masks must be worn entering and exiting the building. You may takeoff your mask when you arrive to your designated conference room.
Parking: Underground paid garage parking is available, but space is limited; entry into the garage is located on 18th Street. There are also other nearby parking garages as well as limited metered street parking.
Metro: Closest stop is the Dupont Circle Station (south station exit) on the Red Line. Upon exit from the station walk towards 18th Street along Massachusetts Avenue; the SEIU Conference Center is located on the right-hand side almost immediately adjacent to Dupont Circle.
