Virtual Breakfast Roundtables This is a subcommittee of the Program Committee and will plan nonprofit breakfasts for peer-to-peer networking and educational discussions. Limited to 20 nonprofit members only.
Communications & Marketing
Responsible for developing marketing for events as well as the editorial calendar for the e-newsletter. The e-newsletter is monthly and will have two fresh articles plus a recap of a past event. A sub-group will focus on FAR website enhancements.
Responsible for helping conference chair with planning the annual conference. Subcommittee of the Program Committee.
Certifications (CPE, CAE)
This is a subcommittee of the Program Committee and reviews materials and learning objectives for monthly educational programs offering certification credit to ensure they meet the requirements established by issuing organizations, such as NASBA and ASAE.

Membership (Chaired by FAR Secretary)
Establishes recruiting and retention programs for Nonprofit Members. (This committee has one subcommittee: the Mentoring Committee to welcome guests and new members.)
Members-Only and Social Events This is a subcommittee of the Program Committee and includes planning for the member holiday luncheon and other social events FAR participates in.
Program (Chaired by FAR Vice-Chair)
Identifies topics and recommends speakers for monthly luncheons and programs such as nonprofit member breakfasts, webinars, and other events. Arranges for CPEs where appropriate. (This committee has three subcommittees: Nonprofit Member Breakfasts, Social Events, and CPE - please see their respective descriptions.)
FAR Board Committees
Finance (Chaired by FAR Treasurer) Reviews financial statements, assists in preparation of budget, audit, and investments.
Nominating and Leadership Development (Chaired by FAR Immediate Past Chair)Develops a matrix of skill sets needed for board consideration and oversees the election process.
Strategic Partnership Task Force *
The Strategic Partnership Task Force has been put together to analyze organizations having compatible goals and similar memberships that may wish to partner with FAR for mutual benefits. *This group is an internal committee of the FAR board.
